A WW2 Bomb was found on Thames,leading to the shutting down of London City Airport

“The airport was closed on Sunday night the 11th after an unexploded world war two bomb was discovered in the river Thames at George V Dock” says the Metropolitan Police in a statement

Passengers have been advised not to travel to the airport until further notice according to a statement on the London City Airport’s Website.
